Community Resource Night

  • The Orchard Park Central School District is excited to kick off its 2024-2025 Parent Information Series with a Community Resource Night on Wednesday, October 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orchard Park Middle School. The event will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Melanie Sage, who will discuss the critical topic of Health and Social Media.

    Dr. Sage’s keynote will provide valuable insights into the risks and benefits of technology use, focusing on offering practical guidance to parents, educators, and service providers. Her evidence-based approach promotes inclusive practices aimed at enhancing support systems for youth and addressing their diverse needs. The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with local organizations offering resources to the community.

    Following the keynote, attendees are invited to visit resource tables in the middle school foyer to learn more about the services and support available from various community organizations, including:
