School Board Meetings: Open Meetings Law
Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State the rules on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order suspending the Open Meetings Law. Until further notice, all Orchard Park Central School District Board of Education Meetings will be held electronically and streamed on the district's website instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person.
At this time, the Board will review public comments via email only. Currently, the Board of Education is conducting meetings via live-stream which does not offer an opportunity for live comments from District residents, students and employees of the District. However, District residents, students and employees of the District are requested to provide their name, address and status, and make their comment via email correspondence to the Board at firstname.lastname@example.org
Commenting persons are reminded the Board will be pleased to review comments that are courteous. Below is the link to email the Board of Education. Please include your full name in the correspondence. Anonymous correspondence will not be read.
