COVID-19 UPDATE FROM SUPERINTENDENT MCGARRITY 1-28

  •  January 28, 2021

    Dear Orchard Park Families:

Yesterday, Governor Cuomo announced the discontinuation of Yellow and Orange Zone restrictions for most areas in the state, including Erie County. We have reviewed the guidance and the random testing of students/staff is no longer required. Therefore we will no longer be testing our students/staff for COVID-19.  Since we are no longer conducting daily tests on site, we will continue to send communication to families only when we have been notified of cases of COVID-19 within our schools.

For today, we have received no information regarding new cases in the district.

As always thank you for your continued support.

    Sincerely,

    Matthew McGarrity,
    Superintendent of Schools
