Final exam tips

As we approach the end of the year, please consider the following suggestions:
Global 9
- Start reviewing early. Use the review packets given in class or the Castle Learning assignments. Don't wait until the night before.
- Consider staying after school to get your notebook organized or review your Midterm exam.
- Focus on vocabulary: terms, definitions, themes and people
- Develop a study circle.
- Know the format of the test: 130 Multiple Choice questions, one thematic essay & DBQ scaffolding
Global 10
- Start reviewing early. Use the review materials that are online, on Castle Learning and given out in class.
- Consider staying after school to get your notebook organized or review Midterm exam.
- Focus on vocabulary: terms, people, definitions, themes, foreign and domestic policies
- Know the format of the exam: 50 Multiple choice questions, one thematic essay, a DBQ scaffolding section and an essay
- Get a Barrons' Review Book and start taking practice tests.
- Develop a study circle.
