  •  ORCHARD PARK HIGH SCHOOL   ACADEMY OF FINANCE (AOF)EXPECTATIONS FOR NEW & EXISTING STUDENTS

     Academic / Grades **

    Core Program – responsible for enrolling in all required courses; complete internship

    Grades – achieve minimum 85% average across all required AOF courses  

    AOF Opportunities **

    Expected to participate in the following:

    DECA Business Club & Quaker Corner Bookstore

    DECA Competitive Event

    (or Advisory Board Entrepreneurial Project or Equivalent Project Based Learning)

    Quaker Vault

    Work Based Learning Seminars – grade specific

    In-School Work Based Learning Conference

    Advisory Board & WNY AOF Networking Opportunities

    Periodic Meetings – only (2) normally scheduled

    Encouraged to participate in the following:

    Fundraising – participation in the annual fundraiser (Student Account)

    Social Events / Team Building Events /After School Educational Seminars

    Special Events – Parent and/or Alumni Nights or Dinners

    Leadership & Service Opportunities      

    Attendance & Behavior & Dress **

    Exemplary Daily School Attendance & Appropriate Behaviors are expected of all OPHS Academy of Finance students at all times.  Students must be dressed in BUSINESS DRESS at all meetings involving Advisory Board members.  Students are encouraged to wear AOF merchandise at AOF student activities.

    ** Failure to meet these expectations may affect your eligibility for AOF Internships / Scholarships
