  • Kindergarten Bus Rides

    Incoming Kindergarten students can experience riding on a school bus prior to their first day of school. Orchard Park bus drivers will take students on a short ride and talk to them about school bus safety. Bus rides will be held at the Orchard Park Central School District Transportation Department, 2240 Southwestern Blvd, West Seneca from Tuesday August 13th through Thursday, August 15th. The rides will start each day at 10 a.m. and continue every half hour until 12 p.m. This will be the only opportunity for your child to experience the bus ride prior to the start of the school year. There is no need to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 209-6237.

  • Eggert Super Hero Day

    Eggert Elementary celebrated Super Hero Day on Thursday June 13th. This was Eggert’s day to honor and thank the “Super Heroes” of our community, which include police officers, firefighters and EMTs of Orchard Park and West Seneca. The Eggert Elementary community usee this time to thank them for their service. Eggert students and staff dressed up in their favorite super hero outfits. The Super Heroes came in with sirens and lights and were welcomed with students lining the halls. The celebration continued with an assembly. Eggert Elementary wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Super Heroes and recognize their daily sacrifices and brave acts to keep our community safe.

  • Eggert Back to School Picnic

    Eggert Road PTO is hosting a Back to School Picnic on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m at the Eggert Road Pavillion. Join us for a family picnic. The PTO will provide chips, hot dogs and pop.

  • Attention Eggert families: Keep collecting Box Tops over the Summer

    The school year may be winding down, but Box Tops for Education is a year-round opportunity to earn money for Eggert Elementary! Over the summer break, keep collecting your Box Tops. Or visit BTFE.com to see how you can scan your receipts when you purchase qualifying items. There will be more contests and great prizes to win starting in the Fall. So keep on clipping!

  • Student Physical Exams Now Required in Grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11

    A recent update in New York Education Law, effective July 1, 2018, requires that a complete physical exam be conducted for all students entering grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. We ask that you schedule an appointment with your child's physician if they will be in one of those grades in September 2018. Please forward the completed form to your school nurse as soon as the exam has been completed.

  • District Use of Student Information & Photo/Video Opt Out Procedure

    Under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, certain information known as "Directory Information" may be released for non-commercial purposes without prior written consent. Directory information is identified as information that would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed. Directory information may include a student's name, names of parents or legal guardians, grade designation, participation in school extracurricular activities, achievements, awards and honors, and relevant statistics and personal data of members of an athletic team or other school-sponsored activity. If you wish to refuse permission for the release of any or all directory information described above, you must notify the District in writing by September 30. Please submit your request to refuse the release of directory information to the building principal of your child's school. Please note: Although not considered directory information, photographs, video or audio recordings, electronic images of students, or student work may be used without prior consent in order to publicize or promote a school district program. If you wish to refuse permission for the use of your child's photograph, video or audio recording, or electronic images in district publications, media releases the District website or social media you must notify the building principal of your child's school in writing by September 30.
