• marching patriot Welcome to Mrs. Feeley's Teacher Page and a GREAT school year!

This is my 24th year teaching Social Studies at Orchard Park High School.   This year, I am teaching Regents US History and a criminal law elective entitled COPS (Crime or Punishment in Society).

U.S. History is a required Regents level course for juniors with a state-wide exam administered in June.  The COPS course is an elective for upperclassmen which provides an introduction to criminal law in N.Y. state as well as an overview of the U.S. legal system.  Course Guidelines and Expectations handouts are attached at the bottom of this page.

Currently, I hold permanent New York state certification in social studies and reading education.  I attend various lectures and classes related to my course content and was recently chosen to attend the National Endowment for the Humanities week-long workshop on the Pan-American Exposition.  I have also previously sat on the N.Y. Regents Global History and Geography Exam review board.  I am currently sitting on the high school curriculum committee and have co-written many curriculum projects for social studies.

Please view the "My Homework" or "My Calendar" page for a listing of due dates for assignments and test dates. The "My Resources" page gives suggestions for writing research papers or reviewing for unit tests.  I have a booklist and contact information page as well.
