ParentSquare brings district, school, and classroom communication together in one place, helping families stay informed and connected to OPCSD.

What is ParentSquare?

ParentSquare is a simple-to-use platform that provides a safe way for everyone at a school to connect.

Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 pm
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Direct message teachers and staff
  • Participate in group messages
  • Sign up for meetings and events when instructed by your school such as scheduling parent-teacher conferences, completing other sign-ups, forms etc. all from your desktop or mobile device.

How Do I Sign Up?

All guardians are automatically enrolled in ParentSquare using the email and phone number we have for you in the PowerSchool (our school information system). We will be sending families an invitation email the week of July 20th-24th if they have not already activated their ParentSquare account. Accounts can also be activated any time using your email or phone number.

However, you do not need to login to ParentSquare to receive messages. Activating your account allows you to customize your notification preferences.

To register for the first time:

  1. Visit parentsquare.com/signin
  2. In the box marked Register, enter your email address or phone number on file.
  3. Follow the prompts to register and set up your notification preferences.

If you have already registered, visit parentsquare.com/signin

ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian, using their preferred email address and phone number. Download the app or log into the ParentSquare web portal.

Once you activate your account you can set your communication frequency and language preferences.

If your email or phone number does not work, contact your school or update your information in the Parent Portal which will then update in ParentSquare, usually within 24 -48 hours.
