Life and Career Skills is a ten week course designed to teach students the necessary skills to become healthy, independent and productive citizens in the community. Students will study life skills, personality traits, and character education. Students will create a career portfolio, learn babysitting skills, and attend business lunches. Students will learn basic hand sewing skills to create a personalized project! Students will also learn about food and nutrition; create a great plate, table etiquette, manners, along with reading and preparing fun and nutritious recipes in the kitchen!
For our school year 2020-2021 our cooking unit, business lunches and sewing units will be paused due to the Cornovirus.
