To the Orchard Park Middle School Community:

I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Orchard Park Middle School. As I assume my new role, I am filled with anticipation and optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead. With almost 14 years of experience in education, including high school math teacher, middle school math teacher, assistant principal, and principal in Virginia, I am dedicated to upholding the tradition of excellence and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that has long been a hallmark of Orchard Park Middle School.

My love for middle school is deeply rooted in the belief that this pivotal stage of education is where young minds truly begin to blossom. I discovered my passion for middle school during my own time as a student at West Seneca East Middle School. I fondly remember the excitement of exploring different classes, immersing myself in a foreign language, participating in clubs and activities, and proudly representing the school on sports teams. Coupled with my many years as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and principal in Virginia, those formative years instilled in me a deep appreciation for the middle school experience and the profound impact it can have on shaping a student’s future.

Middle school is a time of exploration, discovery, and growth – a time when students are finding their voices, discovering their passions, and laying the foundation for future success. Together we will create a nurturing and empowering environment where every student will thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is for our students to walk away from Orchard Park Middle School with lasting memories and positive experiences that will stay with them for years to come.

As your principal, I am committed to open communication and transparency. I welcome your input, feedback, and ideas as we work together to create the best possible learning environment for our students. I am here to listen, to learn, and to support each of you as we navigate this transition together.

It's serendipitous that my first day with staff aligns with the solar eclipse – a natural phenomenon that symbolizes transitions and new beginnings. Just as the eclipse marks a moment of cosmic alignment, so too does this moment mark the beginning of a new chapter for our school community. Together, let us embrace this fresh start with enthusiasm, determination, and a shared commitment to excellence. I look forward to getting to know each of you and to the journey ahead.
