I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. We are busy preparing for your child's return to school on Tuesday, September 6. I would like to share some key information that will facilitate a smooth transition for all. Please note that the online District calendar will have the most up-to-date information regarding events. 

Base Assignments for 2022-2023: 6th Grade Base assignments were posted on the Parent Portal on August 10, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.

6th Grade Orientation Program: This year the 6th-grade orientation will be held on September 1, 2022. More details were emailed home the week of August 1. Please contact the Counseling Center at 209-6233 with questions.

Student Schedules: Student schedules, as well as homeroom assignments, will be available on the Parent Portal on August 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. and given out during homeroom on the first day of school. Please keep in mind that many variables factor into the scheduling of students. The counselors, teachers, and administrators have the best interest of your child’s academic and emotional needs at heart when scheduling. For questions or concerns regarding any student scheduling issues, please contact the Counseling Center at 209-6233.

First Day of School Information: Our first day of school is Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Homeroom begins at 8:00 a.m. Due to safety concerns, students may not enter the building before 7:45 a.m. unless they are meeting a teacher/club. School dismissal is at 2:30 p.m., and buses depart at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Bus Transportation: Route information and estimated pick-up times will be posted on the Parent Portal during the last week of August. If you have questions about transportation, please call the Transportation Department at 209-6237 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

School Pictures: The schedule for school pictures is: Grade 6 – September 20, Grade 7 and 8 – September 21 and 22 during Physical Education class. A complete order form will be sent home with your child prior to picture day.

• Grade 6 Open House – September 22 – 6:30 p.m.
• Grade 7 Open House – September 27 – 6:30 p.m.
• Grade 8 Open House – September 29 – 6:30 p.m.
