OPCSD will present a free community screening of "Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age" on Monday, March 25th, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the OPHS Auditorium. There will be a panel discussion at the end of the film.
Applications for Universal Pre-Kindergarten are currently being accepted for the 2019-2020 school year. In order to participate in the UPK program children must reside in the Orchard Park Central School District attendance area, and be four years old by December 1st of the year they start the program.

Students are encouraged to enter the "Make Your Own Monster" contest in the spirit of Troy Cummings beloved series, The Notebook of Doom. Two lucky winners from each grade (to be chosen randomly) will receive an autographed book, plus have lunch, and a photo-op with Troy Cummings. To enter, simply complete the writing and drawing prompts listed on the back of the entry sheet to create and explain your own monster. We will proudly display our fantastic monster creations in the main hallway of our school for students, teachers, parents and Troy Cummings to enjoy! All entry forms MUST be returned to your teacher by Wednesday, April 3rd to be eligible for the drawing. Extra copies of the entry sheet are available in the Eggert Virtual Backpack.
The PTO is holding a dinner fundraiser at Chipotle Mexican Grill on Tuesday, March 26th between 4pm and 8pm, at their Hamburg location (4405 Milestrip Rd). Show them the printed or online flyer or even tell the cashier at checkout. 33% of all proceeds during that time will be donated back to the Eggert PTO. Hope to see you there!
The Eggert PTO is working with Schwan's Cares to help raise money for our students. Any orders received until May 30, 2019, will earn a percentage of your order that will be contributed back to Eggert! Shop online from over 300 high-quality foods that go from freezer to table in minutes. Refer to the ordering instruction sheet that was sent home with students. The Eggert Wellness Committee invites all students to show their school spirit EVERY FRIDAY this school year. Choose to wear your Eggert wear, Wellness "Be Kind" gear, or Orchard Park maroon and white each Friday.

A recent update in New York Education Law, effective July 1, 2018, requires that a complete physical exam be conducted for all students entering grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. We ask that you schedule an appointment with your child's physician if they will be in one of those grades in September 2018. Please forward the completed form to your school nurse as soon as the exam has been completed.
