Emergency Services

Spectrum Cares - (716) 882-4357  24 hour service providing crisis phone counseling and emergency outreach for children and adolescents focused on mental health issues.

Crisis Services - (716) 834-3131   24 hour service providing crisis phone counseling and emergency outreach for adult mental health issues and sexual assault.

ECMC (CPEP) - (716) 898-3462   24 hour psychiatric emergency.

Brylin - (716) 886-8200  Inpatient mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults.

Family Justice Center - (716) 558-7233  Comprehensive Services for families affected by domestic violence, including provision of temporary safe housing.

Haven House - (716) 884-6002  Emergency shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence.

Compass House - (716) 886-1351  Provides safe shelter and services to Runaway and Homeless youth and teens.

Child Abuse Hotline - (800) 342-3720  NYS Child Protective Services 24 hour a day hotline to report incidences of neglect and abuse.

Kids Helpline - (716) 834-1144  Provides immediate response on a variety of issues related to youth.

Mental Health Association of Erie County Child and Family Support Program - (716) 886-1242 x326  Parents and guardians raising children with emotional or behavioral needs that provides individuals with the opportunity to talk, listen and learn about feelings and related issues.

Parent Network of WNY - (716) 332-4170  Provides education and resources for professionals and families of individuals with special needs.

Face to Face/Renaissance Campus - (716) 827-9462 x315  Students identified as ‘at risk’ for drug or alcohol abuse are provided with an opportunity for a one-time private session on campus to assess usage and refer to appropriate level of service.

Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of Western New York - (716) 855-0221  Offers a variety of services for gay, lesbian, transgender and questioning youth.

2-1-1 Western New York/Central Referral - Dial 2-1-1 or (888) 696-9211  Provides 24 hour a day access to information and trained referral specialists.

OPWDD Front Door - (800) 487-6310  Information regarding accessing services for individual with intellectual deficits and developmental disabilities.

Developmental Disabilities Alliance of WNY - (716) 877-7007  Agency designed to give information regarding services and community supports for those with developmental disabilities.     

Erie County Early Intervention - (716) 828-6374  Intake and evaluation services from birth through age 3 that may have a disability of condition that affects development.
