Checklist Reminders for a Successful School Year

Please review the following reminders for the upcoming 2018-19 school year to ensure your student is off to a great start!

  1. Update PowerSchool Parent Portal contact information and preferences by clicking the PowerSchool Parent Portal login page.
  2. Turn in health forms, including immunizations and physicals to your school nurse. Please click the Health Office Information page for more information.
  3. Click the Food Service/Lunch Menus page for lunch menus, free and reduced lunch forms, and to load your MySchoolBucks account.
  4. Submit Transportation forms to the Transportation Department, if applicable. ClickTransportation Department to access relevant forms. 
  5. Access the Virtual Backpack for flyers on events, fundraisers, extra-curricular activities, and school-specific information for each school by clicking the OPCSD Virtual Backpacks page.
  6. For students in grades 6-12, purchase the optional Chromebook insurance and fill out the form. For more information, please click the 1:1 Devices - Chromebooks page.
  7. Be sure to have all necessary school supplies by clicking School Supply Lists.
  8. Sign up to volunteer at your child’s school by completing the online form and training or signing off on the annual acknowledgement form.
  9. Sync your mobile device with OPCSD's iCal calendar by following these simple instructions.
