OPHS Safety Event To Be Held on May 31st

Orchard Park High School seniors will attend a Safety Assembly on the morning of May 31st at the high school. They will experience a simulation of a tragic car accident and the physical and emotional consequences of driving while impaired. Student actors from the senior class will be participating in the reenactment, which will take place around 8 a.m. This community event involves Orchard Park Police, volunteers from Orchard Park fire halls, and emergency medical service personnel. It’s a full-scale reenactment that is utilized as a major drill for the local police and fire department, including Mercy Flight. Please be aware that there will be a lot of noise associated with the simulation, and the explosion and sirens should not be cause for alarm. This event is aligned with the Orchard Park community's mission to keep kids safe.
